Rodrigo y Gabriela

Rodrigo y Gabriela is a Mexican instrumental acoustic guitar duo formed in 2006 by musicians Rodrigo Sanchez and Gabriela Quintero.[1] Rodrigo is in charge of the solos while Gabriela does the base both playing and using the guitar as a percussion instrument.

To date, they have sold more than 1.2 million copies of their albums. Among their most famous works are the collaborations for the soundtracks of the movies Pirates of the Caribbean, on Stranger Tides and Puss in Boots.
